Cool Camping UK
Fantastic experience, beautiful location and a campsite owner that would do anything to make your stay enjoyable! Locally their are beautiful beaches, quaint little towns and stunning places to eat and drink. Then in the evening, relax around the campfire with a glass of wine, or chill in the hot tub. This really was an experience like no other, the nature of the site is such that it feels like you are camping in the wild, surrounded by flowering gorse, bluebells and medow grass. A quick walk to the rocky outcrop above the site gives you mind blowing 360 degree views of the Pembrokeshire countryside and coastline and the Strumblehead lighthouse. On site there is a cabin with showers in, a fridge freezer, charging point, kettle and sink. There are also portaloos that are cleaned at least once a day. The glamping spots also have a small kitchen shed with all the basics inside and the owner John is happy to help with anything else you need. On arrival we realised we had forgotten out tent poles, however, John came to the rescue with spare tents that he helped us put up, and fresh eggs for breakfast and a freshly caught sea bass for our dinner!During our trip we visited Pembroke Castle, Barafundle Bay, Blue Lagoon at Abereidi, we went kyaking at Whitesands, had fresh crab at The Sloop, went on a boat trip to Ramsey Island and wandered round St Davids. A wonderful week, can’t wait to book our next visit.

Amazing experience here last year, was a beautiful location and really enjoyed having the opportunity to have a real campfire and appreciated the little extras and provisions provided by the staff. Would highly recommend this location as a fantastic rural camping experience, very family orientated and the kids loved it!

This is an awesome site if you like space, real fires and simple facilities.”

this our second trip to the tipis and I was slightly concerned that things may have slipped over the last 3 years but if anything…it was even better! This site is glorious. Just 3 fellow tippiers on site although we were attached to a smaller campsite who shared the facilities. Perfect views across the Pembrokeshire and located in absolute quietness. The tipis are all Morrocan stylee rugs and low beds. The adjacent kitchen shed is genius. Every home should have one! Plenty of lanterns and solar lights to give ambience, this is not luxury glamping and those who expect such a thing may be disappointed. The toilet/shower is probably in need of some out of seaon attention but it was always scuprously clean. Its actually much more than that…. We returned home from a beautiful part of Wales feeling reinvigourated and genuinely relaxed. Stayed August 2016, travelled with family
