Our Yurt

Sea View Yurt

We will let the pictures do most of the talking. A yurt is a simple yet sophisticated, beautiful, and comfortable circular structure developed over millennia to help nomads survive and thrive in some of the nicest and also some of the most inhospitable areas in the world.

Our yurt is a Mongolian Ger and unlike the steeper roofed Kyrghyz yurt style they represent elements of the Buddhist faith. With the shape, colours, decorative stylings and ornaments of the wooden elements of the yurt influenced by the artistic style found in Buddhist monasteries of Mongolia. Such yurts are called “uyangiin ger”, literally meaning “home of melodies”. So if you feel like impersonating Ghengis Khan for a week or fancy being enchanted by the home of melodies, please enquire about booking!

A kitchen hut is provided for your self-catering requirements.
